The Dynamic Duo Face the Court of Owls in the 'Batman vs. Robin' Trailer

Marvel may hold a firm grip on live-action superhero films but nobody compares to DC in the realm of animation. Each year they can be counted on to produce multiple DC Universe movies, most of which turn out pretty good, and their latest Batman vs Robin looks like it could be another winner.

Based in part on the Court of Owls storyline, but strangely without any mention of Nightwing who was a central part of it, Batman vs. Robin pits the dynamic duo against a secret cabal turning children into assassins. Directed by Jay Oliva (The Dark Knight Returns, storyboard artist on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), the film features the returning voices of Jason O'Mara as Batman, Sean Maher as Robin, and David McCallum as Alfred. Longtime fan-favorite Kevin Conroy voices Thomas Wayne, "Weird" Al Yankovic voices the Dollmaker in an awesome bit of casting, and Jeremy Sisto voices Talon.

Batman vs. Robin is a follow-up to Justice League: Throne of Atlantis which is part of the DC shared animated universe that began with Justice League: War. Don't think for a second the Batman vs. Robin title is a coincidence when Batman v Superman is also on the way.
