Will Smith and Margot Robbie Play the Long Con in New 'Focus' Trailer
There used to be a time when the strength of Will Smith's name alone was enough to carry a film over $200M, but nowadays he needs a bit of help. Warner Bros. has certainly tried to give it to him with multiple trailers for the con man film, Focus, some taking a more soulful and sexy approach, and others playing it up as a comedy. Which one is it? Who knows, and there aren't answers to be found in the latest trailer, either.
Co-starring Margot Robbie, who will be joining Smith in Suicide Squad very soon, the film centers on an experienced con man who hooks up with his sexy protege, only to have the relationship end terribly. A few years later she resurfaces at the worst possible time as he's in the midst of a big money scheme.
This one is directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, the duo behind Crazy Stupid Love, so maybe expect Focus to be more of a rom-com when it opens February 27th.
