They say the devil's greatest trick was convincing the world he doesn't exist. Well we know he exists because he's in about a hundred found footage horror movies every year. Yet another one is on the way titled The Vatican Tapes, and it marks the solo debut for Crank and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance director, Mark Neveldine.
For a director who is best known for batsh*t insane flicks, Neveldine's The Vatican Tapes looks like every film in the exorcism genre...well, except for those demon egg thingies. The cast for this one is really good with Michael Pena and Djimon Hounsou as priests trying to defeat an ancient evil that has possessed a young girl.
Also starring Dougray Scott, Kathleen Robertson, and Peter Andersson, The Vatican Tapes hit play on May 22nd.
