Cobie Smulders and Guy Pearce get Pumped for Love in the First 'Results' Trailer

As we've seen many of the leaders of the "mumblecore" indie movement step up to starry features (The Duplass Brothers and Lynn Shelton chief among them), Andrew Bujalski has held out longer than most. His last film was the quirky, offbeat comedy Computer Chess, which had a lot of buzz at Sundance a couple of years ago. He returned to Park City this year with his most mainstream effort to date, the fitness comedy, Results, and now the first trailer is here to pump you up.

Starring Guy Pearce, Cobie Smulders, and Kevin Corrigan, the film centers on the love triangle between Kat, an aggressive gym rat; fitness guru Trevor (Pearce), and Danny (Corrigan), a rich slob looking to turn his life around. It's a solid comedic premise and the stars are more than in shape for the job, but my response to it was decidedly mixed, writing in my review  "the long-winded love story being told will leave you exhausted long before it ever takes shape."

Also starring Brooklyn Decker, Anthony Michael Hall, and Giovanni Ribisi, Results opens on May 29th.
