It's been a little while since X-Men: Days of Future Past, so if you're really in need of a Michael Fassbender fix and are a DirecTV subscriber, today's your lucky day. The darkly comic and gritty Western film Slow West is available now on the satellite service, and to celebrate it a new international trailer has arrived.
Fassbender stars as a mysterious gunslinger who helps a shy young boy (Kodi Smit-McPhee) navigate the dangerous frontier in search of his missing lover. Along the way they'll have some deadly and humorous encounters with characters played by Ben Mendelsohn, Rory McCann, and Caren Pistorious. It's a film I totally went to bat for at Sundance writing that it "works on just about every level and is worth making a journey to see."
Directed by John Maclean, Slow West is available now on DirecTV before hitting theaters on May 15th.
