Daniel Radcliffe takes on neo-Nazis in 'Imperium'
He's battled all-powerful evil wizards in Harry Potter and stood up to demonic spirits in The Woman in Black, and now Daniel Radcliffe is gearing up for his next challenge. Radcliffe is set to star in Imperium, based on the true story of an FBI agent charged with taking down a white supremacist group.
Deadline reports that the film will mark the directorial debut by Daniel Ragussis, best known for the short film, Haber. Ragussis wrote the screenplay with Michael German, who is telling his own story of the 16 years he spent in the FBI on various undercover missions infiltrating neo-Nazi groups. Imperium will follow his attempts to stop one such group from constructing a dirty bomb. In 2004 he turned whistleblower against the FBI and was forced to resign.
Radcliffe will be seen next opposite James McAvoy in Victor Frankenstein, followed by sequel Now You See Me: The Second Act. He also has a hilarious cameo in Judd Apatow's Trainwreck, which is in theaters now.
