The excitement for Heroes Reborn matches the energy fans had for Heroes before it debuted on NBC in 2006. Perhaps it's because the show, which had a solid first couple of seasons before audiences turned on it, has been away for five years. Is now the right time for it to make a comeback? Comic-Con probably isn't the best barometer to judge that, but it's where the new extended trailer was released.
Featuring the return of original cast members Jack Coleman as H.R.G., Jimmy Jean-Louis as The Haitian, Masi Oka as Hiro Nakamura, and Greg Grunberg as Matt Parkman, Heroes Reborn follows a new group of people with superhuman abilities that must unite to save the world. The rest of the cast includes Zachary Levi, Robbie Kay, Danika Yarosh, Judith Shekoni, Kiki Sukezane, Henry Zebrowski, Gatlin Green , and Ryan Guzman. This footage, the best look at the show yet, focuses mostly on the new additions, but stick around to see the series' most popular character, Hiro, showing off his sword-wielding skills.
Heroes Reborn premieres September 24th on NBC.
