Legendary Pictures had one of the most impressive presentations at San Diego Comic-Con last week, impressing me greatly with trailers for Duncan Jones' Warcraft and Guillermo Del Toro's Crimson Peak. On Wednesday night I had the chance to check out the Legendary booth and take part in a unique VR experience that goes straight into the fantastical worlds of both films.
Now Legendary is giving you a chance to take to the skies of Azaroth or walk the haunted halls of Crimson Peak. For those who use Google Chrome as their primary browser, these videos can be enjoyed as they were meant to be, in full 3D. Others will be able to check them out on YouTube 360 or through Legendary's VR app. Both VR experiences can be found below, with brief descriptions of each.
WARCRAFT: SKIES OF AZEROTH
Prepare to soar through the epic world of Azeroth in this official 360 video inspired by the Warcraft movie and developed by Industrial Light & Magic xLAB. Look all around as you fly over the city of Stormwind on the back of the mythic gryphon.
