Ali Larter makes the final 'Resident Evil' Film awesome by returning as Claire Redfield
Announced a couple of years ago as the end of the surprisingly long-lived Resident Evil franchise, the appropriately-titled Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is beginning production soon. Milla Jojovich and her director husband Paul W.S. Anderson put the film on hold to have their second child, but now that they're ready to go the rest of the cast is starting to come together, starting with another familiar (and extremely beautiful) face.
Ali Larter is set to return as Claire Redfield, the character she played in Resident Evil: Extinction and Resident Evil: Afterlife. She'll take time from running in and out of my dreams to battle zombies and other creatures alongside Project Alice (Jojovich), who must stop the Red Queen from destroying the last remnants of humanity. It's unclear if Wentworth Miller, who played Claire's brother Chris Redfield, will also be coming back or if his commitments to The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow will prevent it.
Written and directed by Anderson, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter arrives on September 2nd 2016.
