Gone Girl's Emily Ratajkowski and Spencer Boldman (Lab Rats) are set to go on a Cruise for writer/director Robert Siegel (Big Fan, The Wrestler). Set in 1987, the romance centers on a blue collar Italian-American kid who falls in love with a beautiful Jewish girl from Long Island looking for some trouble. [Deadline]
Filming is underway on Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass' return to the Bourne franchise, and there's been another addition to the cast. Ato Essandoh (Garden State, Copper) joins Damon, Vincent Cassel, Julia Stiles, Tommy Lee Jones, and Alicia Vikander in the espionage film, but whether he's a friend or foe remains unclear. What we do know is the story will take place in a world changed by Edward Snowden's revelations. [Deadline]
Bill Paxton is in talks to join James Ponsoldt's tech thriller, The Circle, which is based on the Dave Eggers novel about a woman who goes to work for a Google-esque online monopoly. Tom Hanks, John Boyega, Emma Watson, Patton Oswalt, and Karen Gillan star in the story that explores our lack of privacy in a digital world. [Variety]
