Adele's latest single, "Hello", is another hit for the talented singer, but that video for it that everyone has been salivating over? It was directed by Xavier Dolan, the filmmaker behind Mommy, Tom at the Farm, and others. And clearly the two hit it off big time because Adele is set to make a cameo in Dolan's next film.
Dolan already has Jessica Chastain, Susan Sarandon, Kit Harington, and Kathy Bates lined up for The Death And Life Of John F. Donovan, and now you can add Adele to the list. It's a film that looks at celebrity culture and the cost of fame, centering on an actor who recollects the pen pal relationship he had with an American TV star who died 10 years earlier.
Production on the film begins next year, and it will be very interesting to see what exactly Adele's role will be. Perhaps she'll play herself? [Deadline]
