Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) are leaving behind everything they've ever known in The Divergent Series: Allegiant, so it stands to reason they cling to the one thing that's familiar: each other. The latest posters for the franchise's upcoming third film were revealed yesterday by a fan as part of a special contest, and the images show Tris and Four locked in an embrace.
After Divergent turned out to be a complete bore and was overshadowed by fellow YA newcomer, The Maze Runner, Insurgent saw the series and director Robert Schwentke go in a more action-oriented route. It was messier, certainly, but definitely was more enjoyable. Allegiant seems to be going in the same direction if the previous trailer is any indication.
Also starring Ansel Elgort, Jeff Daniels, Octavia Spencer, Miles Teller, Ray Stevenson, Zoe Kravitz, Maggie Q, Mekhi Phifer, Daniel Dae Kim and Naomi Watts, Allegiant opens March 18th 2016.
