Giving in to one's desires is a subject Tilda Swinton explored in director Luca Guadagnino's luxurious I Am Love, and now they're reuniting one more time for another gorgeous film in which anything and everything goes. Swinton stars in A Bigger Splash alongside Ralph Fiennes, Dakota Johnson, and Matthias Schoenaerts, and it features complicated relationship matters set in a beautiful, exotic locale. Rock legend Marianne Lane is recuperating on the volcanic island of Pantelleria with her partner Paul when iconoclast record producer and old flame Harry unexpectedly arrives with his daughter Penelope and interrupts their holiday, bringing with him an A-bomb blast of nostalgia from which there can be no rescue. A BIGGER SPLASH is a sensuous portrait of desire, jealousy and rock and roll, under the Mediterranean sun.
A Bigger Splash opens in the U.K. next month but doesn't arrive stateside until May 13th.
