Trailer For Ben Wheatley's 'High-Rise' Has Tom Hiddleston Trying To Stay Above The Chaos

Never fear, Ben Wheatley fans; while the fan-favorite indie director is embarking on his most mainstream effort yet with High-Rise, his trademark quirkiness and offbeat sensibilities are still very much part of the deal. The previous trailer for the film was more of a promotional ad for the luxury apartment building in which the dystopic story takes place, but a new teaser takes a traditional look at what promises to be a nontraditional thriller.

Tom Hiddleston, Elisabeth Moss, Jeremy Irons, Sienna Miller, James Purefoy, and Luke Evans star in the adaptation of J.G. Ballard's novel, which is kind of like Snowpiercer set in a luxury high-rise. The social structure within has the wealthiest living up on the highest floors while the less fortunate struggle below, until the class system erodes as violence erupts throughout the building. Hiddleston plays Dr. Robert Lang whose sanity is tested as chaos ensues.

High-Rise hits theaters in the U.K. this March but has yet to gain a U.S. date.
