New Trailer For Pedro Almodovar's Decades-Spanning Drama, 'Julieta'

It's been three years since Pedro Almodovar's underwhelming sex comedy, I'm So Excited, but the Academy Award-winning director is looking to bounce back. His latest film Julieta (originally titled Silencio) is right around the corner, at least internationally, and a new Spanish-language trailer for the drama has arrived.

While there are no subtitles as of yet, this trailer gives an idea of the mood and a look at the ensemble Almodovar has assembled. Emma Suarez and Adriana Ugarte play older and younger versions of the title character as we follow her tumultuous life between 1985 and 2015.  The rest of the ensemble consists of  Inma Cuesta, Rossy de Palma, Nathalie Poza, Pilar Castro, Darío Grandinetti, Daniel Grao, Joaquín Notario, and Blanca Parés.

Julieta opens in Spain on April 8th, and is expected to land stateside later this year. We'll update this post if an English version is released.
