After avoiding the genre for the early part of his career, Zac Efron now loves comedy movies and the raunchier the better. He's already had Dirty Grandpa alongside Robert De Niro, and while that didn't exactly set the charts on fire, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising looks like a sure-fire hit. But one that many may not know about is Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, and the first trailer has arrived to show why it should be on your radar, as well.
Efron stars with Aubrey Plaza and Pitch Perfect's Anna Kendrick and Adam DeVine, with a screenplay from the writers of Neighbors. On board to direct is Jake Szymanski, who last helmed the hilarious HBO tennis mockumentary, 7 Days in Hell.
The plot should be obvious, but the film centers on two hard partying brothers who put out an online ad looking for perfect dates for their sister's Hawaiian wedding. What they get are two women who are too smart and too wild to be controlled.
Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates opens July 8th.
