Let's be honest, it's going to be tough for any animated film to best Disney's Zootopia, which has become a critical favorite as well as a box office hit. But there are a couple of films on the way that will give a shot, and there's some solid buzz behind both. The first is Sony Pictures' The Angry Birds Movie, based on the video game everybody in your office is still obsessed with. Jason Sudeikis voices the angriest bird of them all, Red, while Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Bill Hader, Maya Rudolph, Peter Dinklage, Keegan-Michael Key, Kate McKinnon, fill out the cast. The Angry Birds Movie opens May 20th.
In case you missed it and Fido forgot to remind you, yesterday was National Pet Day, which made it a perfect time for Universal to drop a new trailer for The Secret Life of Pets. This one features the voices of Kevin Hart, Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Jenny Slate, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Albert Brooks, and more, telling the story of what pets do all day when we're away at work. The Secret Life of Pets opens July 8th. Bring a friend, or Man's Best Friend.
