'Justice League' Will Bring Back Jeremy Irons As Alfred

Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder may be beefin' right now over the direction of Justice League, but with production already underway it's too late to really do anything about it. At this point it may be best if the film focuses on the aspects of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice that most people enjoyed, and that would be the performances of Ben Affleck and Jeremy Irons. Fortunately, now we know both of them will be reprising their roles.

Irons recently told Showbiz411 that he'll return as Alfred Pennyworth in Justice League. The version of Alfred we saw wasn't so much Bruce Wayne's butler as he was a confidante and colleague in arms, similar to the one in Frank Miller and Jim Lee's "All Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder" comic. It's unclear how big of a role he'll have, but he'll almost certainly jump from there to the solo Batman film Affleck is expected to direct.

Justice League Part One opens November 10th 2017.
