First Look At Ghost Rider In 'Marvel's Agents Of SHIELD'
Things are heating up over on Marvel's Agents of SHIELD. Not only is the series entering its fourth season and in a brand new time slot, but it will also be the place where Ghost Rider makes his long-awaited debut in the MCU! We learned some time ago that Gabriel Luna would be playing the Spirit of Vengeance on the ABC series, and now EW has the first look at him in the role, sans fiery head.
Luna will be playing the Robbie Reyes version of the character, a Latino from East Los Angeles who drives a badass muscle car rather than a motorcycle. Reyes was introduced back in 2014 but his series only lasted a year before it was canceled, so there will be a lot of room to expand on the character in the show. Exec-producer Jed Whedon says...
“As always, we are going to put our own spin on the character. We are staying true to the comics in the places where we feel like it’s really important — we love the character’s family dynamic and the East L.A. kid in him.”
Marvel's Agents of SHIELD returns to ABC on Tuesday, September 20th at 10pm EST. Appropriately enough the first episode is title, "The Ghost".
