Forest Whitaker, Daniel Kaluuya, And More Join 'Black Panther' Cast

This is turning out to be a great year for Forest Whitaker, possibly better than when he won Best Actor for The Last King of Scotland. Not only will we see him in Rogue One later this year, but now he's officially part of the MCU as part of Black Panther.

Whitaker, along with Sicario's David Kaluuya, and Florence Kasumba will join the previously cast Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Danai Gurira, and Lupita Nyong'o in Marvel's first film based on a black superhero. The Oscar winner will play Zuri, a Wakandan elder statesman and Panther confidante; with Kaluuya as T'Challa's loyal friend, W'kabi.  Kasumba will reprise her Captain America: Civil War role as Ayo, a member of the fearsome royal guard known as the Dora Milaje. Marvel also confirmed the casting of Winston Duke as M'Baku aka Man-Ape.

Black Panther opens February 16th 2018 directed by Ryan Coogler.
