Opening with the same footage teased days ago, the trailer does a great job of combining the beautiful European setting with a swelling operatic score. It's perfect for the over-the-top action and cheesy dialogue that makes these movies so much fun. There were some concerns when Chad Stahelski decided to direct this one alone rather than with usual partner David Leitch, but it actually looks like the thrills have been raised to another level.
Also starring Common, Riccardo Scamarcio, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Bridget Moynahan, Lance Reddick, Franco Nero, John Leguizamo, and Ian McShane, John Wick: Chapter 2 opens February 10th 2017.
