Keanu Reeves Brings War To Rome In First 'John Wick: Chapter 2' Trailer

Before John Wick opened a couple of years ago few had given it a second thought. On the surface it sounded like just another generic action movie; the kind we would probably forget Keanu Reeves ever starred in. But then we all saw it, and the film was utterly amazing and stylish in a way that made it an instant genre classic. And so the anticipation has been skyrocketing for John Wick: Chapter 2, with the first trailer having debuted today at New York Comic-Con.

Opening with the same footage teased days ago, the trailer does a great job of combining the beautiful European setting with a swelling operatic score. It's perfect for the over-the-top action and cheesy dialogue that makes these movies so much fun. There were some concerns when Chad Stahelski decided to direct this one alone rather than with usual partner David Leitch, but it actually looks like the thrills have been raised to another level.

Also starring  Common, Riccardo Scamarcio, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Bridget Moynahan, Lance Reddick, Franco Nero, John Leguizamo, and Ian McShane, John Wick: Chapter 2 opens February 10th 2017.
