It won't be all superheroes and vigilantes when Netflix and Marvel mash-up their shows for The Defenders crossover. Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) will be bringing along some of their supporting casts, as well. According to the series' Twitter account you can expect to see Deborah Ann Woll reprise her role as Karen Page, along with Simone Missick as Misty Knight.
Page has been a key figure in both seasons of Daredevil, as both an assistant at Matt Murdock's law firm and as his love interest. She will also be appearing opposite Jon Bernthal in the first season of The Punisher. Detective Misty Knight debuted in Luke Cage and will also make appearances on Iron Fist, which makes sense considering she is close friends to both characters in the comics. Whether we see her get her bionic arm like she has in the comics remains to be seen, but that would be a good place for it to happen.
So along with the previously-cast Sigourney Weaver The Defenders cast is shaping up to be pretty amazing. The first two episodes of the 8-episode series will be directed by S.J. Clarkson and hit Netflix next year.
