Amy Schumer And Goldie Hawn Get 'Snatched' In The Comedy's First Trailers

Mother/daughter comedies are a dime a dozen, but how many of them have starred Goldie Hawn recently? Okay, a better question may be how many movies has Hawn been in at all lately? The answer is '0', not having been on the big screen since The Banger Sisters fifteen years ago. But she's back and opposite the perfect co-star to play her daughter, the hilarious Amy Schumer, and the first trailers for their film Snatched is here.

Directed by Jonathan Levine and featuring a script by Katie Dippold, writer of The Heat, Spy, and Ghostbusters, the film finds Schumer as a daughter who asks her uptight mom on a vacation in South America. So how does it turn out? Lots of dodging through jungles and leaping across tall buildings, which probably wasn't in the plan.

This looks great, if only because Hawn and Schumer seem like such a perfect pairing. And it's hard to argue with Dippold's track record at this point. She's basing the story on her relationship with her own mom so expect lots of jokes that will hit home. For one thing, going on vacation with your parents is always lame when you're young, but as you get older....well, it doesn't seem so bad.

Snatched opens May 12th 2017. Check out both versions of the trailer below, one of them a little unsafe for work.
