If there were no Star Wars movie right now would we be talking about the Planet of the Apes franchise as the best action flicks out there? What we've seen since Rise of the Planet of the Apes and continued by Matt Reeves in the awesome sequel has only given us more reason to be excited for the third and possibly final chapter, War for the Planet of the Apes, which has just dropped another jaw-dropping trailer.
Andy Serkis is back as Caesar, who is leading his ape army through another dark battle against humanity. Everything's on the line this time especially with Woody Harrelson as the Colonel, who will do anything to make sure it's us who come out on top. So can we actually call him the villain if he's basically fighting for human survival? That's always been one of the fascinating conundrums in this series and I can't wait to see it taken to another level.
War for the Planet of the Apes opens July 14th 2017.
