While we did get a 90-second teaser for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 a couple of months ago, it didn't have nearly enough of Baby Groot and Rocket. So thankfully James Gunn and Disney have graced us with the first full trailer and the duo basically run the whole show. If you thought they were great before, they're even better with Groot now the size of Rocket's knee.
The best thing about this trailer, besides Rocket's frustration over a curious Groot nearly destroying the whole universe, is that it doesn't reveal a ton. Sure, this footage is giving away a little bit of the massive space monster the team is fighting, and some great gags to go along with it, but we know there are plenty of mysteries to be solved and none were spoiled. It's a far cry from what we're seeing Disney and Lucasfilm do with 'Rogue One' which is showing cards daily.

“With ‘Guardians,’ people really go through every single little shot and try to figure out what the movie’s about. And there’s a lot of mysteries in ‘Guardians 2.' We were talking about how much to give away — and we’re not going to give away very much. With Guardians, it’s such an emotional and physical journey, going to all these different places. It’s like, ‘God, do I really want to show this planet we go to in the middle of the movie? … Those are always hard choices to make.”
