Rumor: 'Wild Tales' Director In The Mix For 'Justice League Dark'

With Doug Liman the latest director to drop out of DC Films' Justice League Dark movie, the search is on for someone to replace him. The first name to surface was IT and Mama director, Andy Muschietti, who could be a good fit given his horror background. And now Jeff Sneider adds a new name into the mix, Argentinian filmmaker Damián Szifron.

Szifron is best known for directing Wild Tales, the black comedy anthology which earned an Oscar nomination for Best Foreign Language film. He's also attached the long-developing Six Billion Dollar Man with Mark Wahlberg, although that project hasn't gone anywhere in years.

Sneider dropped the news on the Meet The Movie Press podcast, which is pretty terrible. He's a generally reliable reporter for The Tracking Board, and if this was a solid story he would have posted it there, not blabbed about it on a podcast. So take this with a grain of salt. Two of them, actually.
