Ok, I lied I had full intentions of pun in the headline. What is not funny though is that the sequel planned for Friday The 13th is apparently as dead as so many camp counselors that came before it. I'm going to go against the grain here and say that I liked the remake. It had everything we loved about the originals boobs, blood, and balls out thrills with a little extra in terms of Jason's background...showing his tunnel system was awesome! But alas I take some solice in the fact that this sequel is now off the rack, mostly because the rumors were that the next one was to place Jason in some sort of snow based setting. As we have seen in the past whether it be New York, Hell, or even outer space, if you take Jason out of Camp Crystal Lake the results are less than stellar. Here's the quote from Bloody Disgusting:
