There's still hope that Sony will get their heads out of their butts and scrap this whole misguided Green Hornet experiment. Sony has announced that the Seth Rogen starring, Michel Gondrey helmed action/comedy will be pushed back to January 14, 2011. Why? Not because they realize what a woeful error they're making having Rogen play the crime fighting hero. No, it's because the extra time is needed to convert the film to 3-D.
Le sigh....
Remember how well that 3-D conversion worked for Clash of the Titans? Granted, Sony has a lot more time to get it right than Warner Brothers did, but is this really a movie that screams third dimension? I don't think so.
