Sure Shots: Megan Fox; KUNG FU PANDA 2; MACGYVER

Quickly...

*Is it possible Megan Fox wasn't spinning us into butter when she told People Magazine that she left Transformers 3 of her own accord? The Wrap quotes a source close to the actress who says that she quit due to director Michael Bay's verbal abuse, and decided to leave early. I don't buy into some outlets that think this means Fox wasn't lying. If the source is truly as "close" to her as The Wrap claims, what are the chances they're just emphasizing her perspective? Let's be clear, Paramount could have compelled her to stay if they so chose.

*Gary Oldman(The Professional) will lend his considerable voice talents to Dreamworks' Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom. He'll join the entire returning voice cast, including Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, and Jackie Chan. Oldman will be voicing a character named Peacock, who I'm guessing is probably a peacock. The film is due to release on June 3rd 2011.

*Warner Brothers is piecing together their MacGyver film out of spit and bailing wire in the face of MacGruber's debut this weekend. They've hired Jason Richman to pen the script of the resourceful action hero. Richman's best known as the writer of Bangkok Dangerous(bad), Bad Company(the terrible Chris Rock one not the good Ellen Barkin one), and Black Hawk Down(pretty darn good).
