Rosie Hungtington-Whiteley's Transformers 3 character revealed

With Megan Fox's daisy dukes wearin' Mikaela Banes thrown out like used energon cubes, the question becomes exactly who the heck is newcomer Rosie Huntington-Whiteley playing? A recent set report filed by ComingSoon.net had the answer, and frankly I had to scour the subspace pockets of my brain to remember who she was. She'll be taking on the role of Carly.

Who in the hey is Carly, you ask?  She actually is a known and important character in the Transformers mythos. Carly was an MIT grad who met Spike Witwicky(Shia Labeouf) at an arcade(remember those?) and quickly became friends with him and Bumblebee. Eventually she became an integral part of the team, using her technical expertise to help the Autobots out of many a jam.  In later years she and Spike would eventually marry.

Does that mean nuptials could be in Spike and Carly's future in the movie world, too?  That would be cool, but only if Blaster can be the DJ.
