Just last week it seemed as if Paramount Pictures was having some
second thoughts about bringing Ethan Hunt back for another impossible mission(none of which have been all that impossible, really). With Tom Cruise's latest film, Knight and Day, performing poorly at the box office that was understandable. While Mission:Impossible 4 hasn't officially been greenlit yet, it's good to know that director Brad Bird(The Iron Giant) has begun proceeding as if it has, bringing back Simon Pegg(Shaun of the Dead) to reprise his role as Benji Dunn in the film. Dunn was a much needed comic injection for the usually dead serious flicks.
The hope is for shooting on MI:4 to begin in September, with a planned December 16th, 2011 release.
