I swore I wouldn't report on crap like this anymore, but it's about The Avengers so I can sit on that rule for at least a few sentences. It's being reported that when Joss Whedon begins shooting Marvel's big action mash-up in February, he'll be doing so in 3-D. Captain America and Thor will also use the technology, however they are having it added in post-production. Not a good idea.
Supposedly the footage of Thor they showed at Comic-Con did not look good with the post-conversion 3-D added on. I'm not surprised. I'll just keep pointing at Clash of the Titans and The Last Airbender as shining examples of why 3-D must only be used natively, and never tacked on after the fact.
