Sam Rockwell joins David Gordon Green's 'The Sitter'

As if the additiions of Jonah Hill and JB Smoove(Curb Your Enthusiasm) weren't enough to get me interested in The Sitter, David Gordon Green's follow-up to Pineapple Express, now he goes and adds both Sam Rockwell and Ari Graynor(Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist) into the mix.

The Sitter stars Hill as a guy who takes a job babysitting his neighbor's three kids. Things take an "Adventures in Babysitting" route, going horribly awry as you'd expect. Hill gets mixed up in a drug deal gone wrong, and he finds himself and kids pursued all over New York.

JB Smoove is already attached as one of the drug dealers, with Rockwell signing on to play the other one. For Rockwell to take this gig it must be a meatier role than it initially sounds. I can see both Rockwell and Smoove actually being the best part of the film already.

Graynor, who most recently impressed me yet again in the Jesse Eisenberg drug dealing flick Holy Rollers, will be the girl who sets the whole incident into motion.  The three kids will be played by Max Records(The Brothers Bloom), Kevin Hernandez and Landry Bender.
