1st look at Ben Kingsley and Sacha Baron Cohen in Scorsese's "Hugo Cabret"

I've been trying to get worked up for Martin Scorsese's first foray into 3D, the family adventure film Hugo Cabret, but so far nothing's worked. The film features an amazing cast including Chloe Moretz, Jude Law, Asa Butterfield, Emily Mortimer, and more in a story about a boy who lives a secret life in the walls of a Paris train station. He gets swept up in a magical adventure alongside a reserved toy shop owner(Ben Kingsley) and an eccentric girl all over a strange, broken machine.  Perhaps when it gets closer to the December 9th, 2011 release date I'll be a bit more jazzed. Right now I'm watching this thing unfold with a hesitant eye, and hoping I get a chance to read the Brian Selznick novel that it's based on.

Two new photos have been released, one featuring Sasha Baron Cohen(alongside some random dude) as the train station inspector, the other of Ben Kingsley as filmmaker Georges Méliès, the central figure of the story. I'll be curious to see how Scorsese handles the use of 3D, and if it leads to any future Boston mafia flicks where we can see someone get their heads bashed in the third dimension.
