Tops at the Box Office

1. Tangled- $21.5M/$96.5M
Even by post-Thanksgiving standards this was a weak one, but Tangled still managed enough business to push Harry Potter out of first place. After 12 days of national release, Disney's 50th animated feature is set to surpass the total haul of The Princess and the Frog already.
2. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 1- $16.7M/$244M
Dropped a hefty 66%, but then again all the "family" films took a pounding this week.
3. Burlesque- $6.1M/$27M
4. Unstoppable- $6.1M/$68.9M
As predicted, it's now bested the total of The Taking of Pelham 123.
5. Love and Other Drugs- $5.7M/$22.6M
Held on surprisingly well, only dropping around 42%. Perhaps the Oscar buzz surrounding Anne Hathaway will keep this one afloat for awhile.
6. Megamind- $5.03M/$137M
7. Due Date- $4.21M/$91M
8. Faster- $3.83M/$18.1M
9. The Warrior's Way- $3.05M
The only nation wide release this week couldn't even muster up enough support to beat out Jonah Hex's $5.7M opening. After seeing it, I'm not at all surprised.
10. The Next Three Days- $2.65M/$18.4M

Three films in limited release that got off to high-flying starts: Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan, which features a buzzworthy performancy by Natalie Portman, opened at $1.4M at only 18 sites. That's an incredible $77,444 average. Wow.

The much maligned and delayed homosexual prison rom-com I Love You Philip Morris opened at only 6 sites for an average of $18,833.

The Ryan Gosling/Kirsten Dunst starring All Good Things opened at only 2 sites for a total of $40,000.

All three of these films will go nationwide next week.
