See, I told you that whole moon landing thing was a big lie! And I'm happy to see that Michael Bay agrees with me! In this teaser trailer for Transformers: Dark of the Moon, it's suggested that arguably this country's greatest achievement back in 1969 was all a big cover up for the real mission to investigate a crashed ship.
Inside that ship is a Transformer any longtime fan will recognize: Alpha Trion, one of the 13 original Transformers created by Vector Sigma(the computer which gives Transformers life) and the one responsible for transforming the frail Autobot Orion Pax into the future leader known as Optimus Prime.
It's a pretty sweet trailer to be honest. Sets up nicely without giving too much away, and I like setting it in a scientifically fertile time in this country's history. Good stuff, Mr. Bay.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon stars Shia Labeouf, Rosie Hungtington-Whiteley, Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel, Patrick Dempsey and a cast of friggin' thousands. It's set to be released on July 1st, 2011. Check out the the trailer and let us know what you think!
