JJ Abrams' 'Super 8' renamed 'Darlings' in Brazil?

This likely means nothing, but over in Brazil JJ Abrams' super secretive next film, titled Super 8 here in the United States, has been renamed 'Darlings'.  Does that mean a name change is in the works here, too? Eh, probably not. 

Abrams had used the idea of remaking Little Darlings, the 1980 virginity comedy starring Tatum O'Neal and Kristy Mcnichol, as a cover for his secret Super 8 casting calls. It's possible that the name change is just a placeholder of sorts, since 'Super 8' likely doesn't mean squat in Brazil. 

All we know about Super 8 really at this point is that it's an alien movie of some sort, probably similar in a fashion to Cloverfield. Currently set for release on June 10th 2011, the film stars Elle Fanning, Kyle Chandler, Ron Eldard, and Noah Emmerich.  You can check out the Brazilian trailer for 'Darlings' below!
