Tops at the Box Office

1. Little Fockers- $26.3M/$103M
After some serious jockeying back and forth, it was the third and most putrid installment of the Meet the Parents franchise that ultimately beat out True Grit for the top spot. True Grit actually had moved ahead as of Friday but Fockers stormed ahead with a huge Saturday showing.
2. True Grit- $24.5M/$86.8M
I wouldn't be surprised to see True Grit ultimately end up ahead of Little Fockers if only because it's going to be a continued force through the Oscars. As of now the Coen Brothers' western has already surpassed the worldwide total of the most recent big name genre film, 3:10 to Yuma($70M total).

3. Tron: Legacy- $18.3M/$131M
A whopping 25% of Tron Legacy's gross has come from IMAX theaters. It'll be interesting to see how it performs when it loses the majority of those screens in the next couple of weeks.
4. Yogi Bear- $13M/$66.1M
5. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader- $10.5M/$87.1M
6. Tangled- $10M/$168M
7. The Fighter- $10M/$46.4M
8. Gulliver's Travels- $9.1M/$27.2M
Well, the only recent Jack Black headline to do this badly was 2008's Be Kind, Rewind. The difference is that film topped out at only 810 theaters, while Gulliver's Travels is at over 2500.
9. Black Swan- $8.45M/$47.4M
Continues to dance along mightily as it amps up the theater count to around 1400. Darren Aronofsky's most acclaimed film, The Wrestler, maxed out it's theatrical run at $47M worldwide, so Black Swan has clearly been a success.
10. The King's Speech- $7.65M/$22.8M
Well, hello! At only 700 theaters, the Oscar darling ducks it's head into the top 10 with a very impressive $7.65M. Bolstered by incredible word of mouth for Colin Firth's performance and a ton of Oscar buzz, expect this film to be hanging around for a little while.
