Briefly...
Juno Temple had been reported to be in talks to play a "street smart Gotham girl" in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises ever since the day Joseph Gordon-Levitt was confirmed. Despite some other sites claiming she had already signed(lookin' at you, IGN!!), she hadnt until now. Variety confirms her signing on, but has no info on what role she'll be playing. Expect that to stay under wraps until Nolan decides we all deserve to know.
So she could be pretty much anybody. Some have speculated she'll be either the female Robin, or possibly a combination of Robin and Batgirl. Or maybe even Catwoman's longtime friend, Holly Robinson(not the one from 21 Jump Street
!). If we're judging on looks, Temple looks a lot like both Robinson and Robin, so we're just going to have to wait and see.
