I first caught a glimpse of this 3D trailer at the Pirates of the Caribbean screening earlier in the week, and was impressed enough to remark that this looks like the best Transformers film yet, and I'm no fan of the first two at all. The action is bigger, the fights appear to be much cleaner and better staged, and as long as Shia Labeouf is running around screaming then I don't have to watch him act. It all works. That sequence with Bumblebee scaling the building to make the last second save is simply phenomenal. Here's hoping the end product pans out.
The only thing I don't understand is why Paramount released a 3D trailer to the internet, but whatever. A 3D trailer solely for TV I could understand.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon opens a couple of days early on June 29th!
