The game of one-upmanship between Universal and Relativity's dueling Snow White flicks got turned up to a fever pitch recently when Tarsem Singh's untitled film saw it's release date bumped up 10 months(!!!) to March 16th 2012. That meant Relativity had to get on the ball pronto in casting this thing, and today they've announced the addition of nine new castmembers, including all seven dwarves.
The seven folks playing the dwarves include: Mark Povenelli(Water for Elephants
), Jordan Prentice(In Bruges
), Danny Woodburn(Death to Smoochy
), Sebastian Saraceno and Ronny Lee Clark from the reality series Pit Boss
, Martin Klebba(Cradle 2 The Grave
), and Joey Gnoffo(The Benchwarmers
). I'm sure they all asked for the standard "No Midget Tossing" provision in their contracts. That Julia Roberts is notorious.Also signing on are the always excellent Mare Winningham(Brothers
) as Baker Margaret, and Michael Lerner(A Serious Man
) as a baron. They join Julia Roberts as the evil queen; Armie Hammer as Prince Alcott; Lily Collins as Snow White; Nathan Lane as Brighton, and Robert Emms as Renbock.
