3. Good Neighbors
The main thing I remember from the marketing of this strangely cast, low budget thriller is the way every twist and turn was telegraphed for the viewer to figure out. So here's hoping you missed all of that and can walk into this one totally free of judgement. Jay Barucel, Scott Speedman, and Emily Hampshire star as three neighbors in a community ravaged by viscious murders.

2. Carlos (Criterion Collection) Edgar Ramirez gives a dynamic performance as international terrorist and murderer Carlos the Jackal, who gained notoriety as one of the world's most wanted fugitives throughout the 70s and 80s. The 5 1/2 hour long film(presented as a mini-series) is a detailed look into Carlos' bungled beginnings, before evolving into something of a global celebrity.
1. Transformers: Dark of the Moon
It may not be saying much to declare that Michael Bay has vastly improved on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, but in this case it's absolutely true. Bay's robotic swan song is a much better film, bigger action, explosive special effects, and yes there's even a hint of a story there once you get through the slow moving introduction. The sky sraper crushing ,city destroying finale is a thing of pure beauty. Shia Labeouf returns as human hero Spike Witwicky, who thrusts himself yet again into the Autobot/Decepticon war. Only this time he's got more to deal with, in the form of a human contingent sympathetic to the Decepticon cause.
