Trailer Time: 'Case de mi Padre', starring Will Ferrell
Perhaps because Case de mi Padre may one of the few Will Ferrell comedies to not have mass market appeal, we seem to be getting a lot of trailers dropped on us in rapid fire succession. It hasn't been a month since the last one, and only two weeks ago we received a brand new poster. The latest doesn't reveal much more from the Spanish-language, telenovella inspired comedy, but it proves that Ferrell speaking other languages is pretty darn funny.
He plays Armando Alvarez, who has been working on his father's financially strapped ranch in Mexico all of his life. His more successful brother, Raul(Diego Luna), turns up with his fiancee, Sonia(Genesis Rodriguez), and seemingly saves the day. But when Armando falls in love with Sonia, Raul's business dealings are revealed as less than legit, and they soon find themselves at war with a Mexican drug lord(Gael Garcia Bernal).
Why does the turtle move so slow? For the answer to that question, you can either wait until March 16th or check out the trailer for Case de mi Padre below....
