Arnold Schwarzenegger confirmed for 'The Tomb' with Sly Stallone; Mikael Hafstrom to direct

So it's actually happening. After the pair of 80s action icons hit it off big in The Expendables, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger were keen on working together again. The Governator had been attached to The Tomb, a rather generic sounding flick about a security guru who must escape an inescapable prison of his own design. But when he couldn't do it, he got Stallone to take the lead instead, only to have rumors swirl about Schwarzenegger possibly coming back aboard. They just can't quit one another.

Deadline reports Schwarzenegger is indeed back, playing a hardened criminal who deep down inside is really quite a nice guy. The film has juggled a couple of directors already. Kim Ji-Woon(I Saw the Devil) was set to helm before he decided on The Last Stand with Schwarzenegger starring. Antoine Fuqua was also attached, but opted to replace Philip Noyce as the director of Hunter/Killer. The film will now be directed by Mikael Hafstrom, who last year brought us the dull exorcism film, The Rite.

With Hafstrom, my interest just took a serious nosedive. He's done solid work before, like in the psycho horror 1408, but that was some years ago and there's nothing to indicate he can replicate the silly macho tone a movie like this so clearly needs.
