Guy Pearce packs a mighty big gun in new 'Lockout' poster
The latest poster for the promising sci-fi action flick, Lockout, has been released and there's just one major problem. Where's the sci-fi? If you had no idea about the plot, about a wrongly convicted man sent into an outer space prison full of rioting criminals to extract the President's daughter, then you'd probably think this poster was for....I dunno, Contraband 2 or something. It's just really generic, even with Guy Pearce looking like a bad ass, and Maggie Grace looking worried over his shoulder.
Directed by James Mather and Stephen St. Leger, with a script co-written by the great Luc Besson, Lockout(formerly MS One: Maximum Security), still looks like a cross between Taken and Escape from New York, which could be totally awesome or a wild misfire. If Besson was directing it himself I'd have a lot more confidence.
Lockout opens on April 20th.
