Trailer Time: 'Let the Bullets Fly', starring Chow Yun Fat

The name Jiang Wen might not be recognizable to many over here in the United States, but he remains one of the best of China's latest wave of filmmakers. His greatest exposure on our shores was leading one of the segments of New York, I Love You, the star studded anthology romance from a few years ago. He'll get another shot to make an impression on action movie fans as his latest film is headed to our theaters on March 2nd, and he's bringing the great Chow Yun Fat with him.

Let the Bullets Fly is a Chinese take on The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. Set in lawless China of the 1920s, Jiang Wen stars as a gangster who worms his way into a governorship, with plans of getting rich as a corrupt politician. Only he soon discovers that the town is really in the iron grasp of a wealthy crime lord, played by a snarling Chow Yun Fat.

Along with starring, Wen directed and wrote the script, reportedly going through 30 drafts before he finally felt comfortable with it. So this thing better be awesome! Check out the English sub-titled trailer for Let the Bullets Fly below....
