Well, it's nice of 20th Century Fox to try and warn us away from the latest trailer for The Three Stooges and all but.....wha? Oh...that's a warning to not perform any of the Jackass inspired buffoonery seen in the film? That's unfortunate because I was planning on getting slapped by Sofia Vergara at her earliest convenience.
When your tagline is "Before Jackass, there was Dumbass" something has clearly gone awry, and it has everything to do with the Stooges brand of humor not really being all that funny nowadays. The best approach would have been to set the film during the Stooges' prime years of the 1930s and 40s, rather than pulling this crap set in the present and the clownish trio stumbling into a reality show.
The Farrelly Brothers have to know they have a possible career ending bomb on their hands, and one only wonders what might've been if Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn, and Jim Carrey had stuck around. Eh, it would still look awful, and we'd all just be asking why the frig any of them signed up to have their nuts clawed by lobsters.
