Jake Kasdan to re-team with Jason Segel for 'Sex Tape'

That headline could read a little awkward for Jason Segel and Jake Kasdan, who last worked together on Bad Teacher, one of last year's slew of successful R-rated comedies. The two will pair up again, not for any sort of bedroom hijinks, but for a comedy under the provocative title of Sex Tape which Kasdan will direct.

First announced last year when Sony was hoping for Segel to re-team with Forgetting Sarah Marshall director Nicholas Stoller, the film follows a married couple who decide to get a little frisky and make a sex tape, only to wake up the next day and find it missing. Reese Witherspoon had been circling the co-lead, but nothing has been heard on that score in awhile.

This already sounds like a potential hit in the making, especially with Segel involved and the raunchy subject matter.  Of some concern is the script by Kate Angelo, writer of the cringe worthy Jennifer Lopez "comedy The Back-Up Plan.  [Variety]
