Jessica Biel is Vera Miles in 'Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho'
Just after revealing the first image of Toby Jones as Alfred Hitchcock in the BBC production of The Girl, the other Hitchcock film currently in the works has added one more to its impressive cast. Deadline reports that Jessica Biel has joined the cast of Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho, playing Psycho star Vera Miles.
Directed by Sacha Gervasi(Anvil! The Story of Anvil) and based on Stephen Rebello's book about the trials and tribulations, both professionally and personally, Hitchcock went through to get the classic horror completed. Anthony Hopkins will play the legendary film maker, with Helen Mirren as his wife, Alma Reville. Scarlett Johansson and James D'Arcy will co-star as Janet Leigh and Anthony Perkins.
It could be a meaty role for Biel, who should be seen next in the Total Recall remake. Miles and Hitchcock had a great relationship at first, and he had plans for her to be his next break out star. However, they had a falling out over her getting pregnant just before filming on Vertigo was set to begin, and Hitchcock stopped using her after that.
