Sure Shots: Marcia Gay Harden; Abigail Breslin; Martin Campbell

* Marcia Gay Harden has joined the cast of Get A Job, the long awaited film from Dylan Kidd(Roger Dodger) and starring Anna Kendrick, Brandon T. Jackson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Miles Teller, Alison Brie, Nick Braun, Bryan Cranston, and Jay Pharoah, She'll play a demanding VP at an executive placement firm in the story following a group of college grads who come to realize the real world, especially the job market, is kinda crappy right now.

* Imagine how different things would be for Abigail Breslin right now if she'd beaten out Jennifer Lawrence for The Hunger Games? Instead, she's spent the last few months doing crap like New Year's Eve and now joining The Hive for director Brad Anderson. She'll be joining her New Year's Eve co-star, Halle Berry, in the film about an emergency line worker who must face her fears and an old nemesis while trying to help a young girl. I think Anderson is a hell of a director, but this movie sounds like junk. Breslin is currently filming Ender's Game down in New Orleans. [Variety]

* James Cameron and 20th Century Fox have tapped Martin Campbell(Casino Royale) to direct his passion project, The Dive, based on the true story of free-divers Audrey Mestre and her husband Francisco Ferreras. The two broke records by diving to unimaginable depths on a single breath of air. Their love story would come to a tragic end in 2002 when Mestre died during an attempt to break her own record. J. Michael Straczynski(Babylon 5) will pen the script. This is a great story, one that Cameron has a personal connection to. He was on hand when Ferreras made a tribute dive in honor of his wife. He will still serve as producer on the film. Hopefully this will also be a good way for people to forget Campbell had anything to do with Green Lantern.  [Deadline]
